This Land is Their Land: Reports from a Divided Nation by Barbara Ehrenreich finished on August 4, 2008 at 4:45 p.m.
Final lines:
We also say to them: Bravo and hasta la vista! We’ll be back when you’ve got America, as we knew it, up and running again.
Closing thoughts: Ehrenreich can pack a satirical punch like nobody’s business. So much in this book would have been so very funny if it wasn’t already so very sad.

Comment by Andi August 4, 2008 @ 5:24 pmAs soon as I read one of the book’s essays on “The Nation” I had to have it. It was great. The essays are all short, but she packs a good, witty punch in just a few pages.
