gentle reader: No problem! I remember I couldn't wait to get it, then when I finally Bookmooched it, I promptly forgot it. I'm glad I picked it up on a whim last week. When you do read it, let me know if you think "Case Histories" is a fair comparison!

Chartroose: This was my first Laura Lippman book, mainly because I have no desire to get hooked into another series, and she mostly writes for the Tess Monaghan series. After this though, I had to buy "No Good Deeds" - the series' latest (I think). We'll see if I like it just as much.

Have you read "One Good Turn"? I ask, because I wonder if you liked it as much as "Case Histories."

I loved Case Histories, too. This was on my list for awhile, but slipped off the radar screen--thanks for reminding me!

I loved "Case Histories" so this one is a definite TBR. I think I've read something else by her, but I can't remember what it is. I think I liked it. Damn!
