Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow finished on July 24, 2008 at 11:33 p.m.
Final lines:
Let us pause now
and close this sanguine song.
Let us cock our own ears and listento the random, ringing jangle
of the linked chain
and cool steel leash
dancing together
across the city’s
ever looming twilight.– page 308
Closing thoughts: Hot damn, that was a good book.
Review coming soon.

Gah! I’ve got to try it again in hopes of being in the mood for it.
Comment by Andi July 25, 2008 @ 8:21 pmAndi: I had to put it down for about a week myself because I just wasn’t in the mood for it. Now that I think more about it, the book itself may lag a bit in the middle. But when I picked it back up to finish it off, I couldn’t put it back down even I’d wanted to.
